We have to elevate the voices of women and Indigenous people when it comes to acting on climate. One of my favorite parts of my trip to Washington DC was meeting @quannah.rose, a member of the Gwich’in tribe and an advocate for protection of the Arctic Refuge. Yesterday, the House passed a bill to protect the Arctic Refuge from oil and gas drilling! Taking action on climate is doing what’s best for the health of people and the planet. Thank you to the Gwich’in people for their leadership and all the work of environmental activists and athletes who have worked diligently on this issue.
