With a little creativity and improvisation, you can get your sweat on anywhere. For the #LekiChallenge, I set up my poles and some leftover painter’s tape to do ladder exercises down my hallway. These exercises improve speed and agility. They were vital to getting my quad and leg firing quickly after ACL surgery. And they are just a lot of fun, especially when you're doing them to @lizzobeeating. You can set them up with painter’s tape in your hallway or with chalk outside.⁣⁣Here’s a sequence that’s great for a warm-up before weight-lifting, or just a fun way to get some extra energy out and challenge your coordination:⁣⁣1. Post your video and tag me, @leki.ski.outdoor, @lekiusa and #LekiChallenge! It isn’t easy to write about struggles with ADD, depression and anxiety, or about mental health in general. It’s hard for me to let go of the feeling that openly struggling shows that I am inadequate or broken.⁣⁣These are uncertain times right now that are testing us all. I’ve seen life coaches, counselors and psychiatrists, but one of the most helpful people I’ve worked with is @jessamunion. She is the founder of @rocksteadybw and is a wellness advocate, bodyworker and leadership guide specializing in the strategic use of ancient wellness practices for modern times. Jessa has been a pivotal person in my life who has helped me through some of my darkest days. She’s helped me with a variety of cognitive techniques when I’m downward spiraling to be able to turn it around.⁣⁣We are teaming up to do a Zoom chat on Friday, April 3 at 12 pm MST to talk about self-leadership in uncertain times, with strategic information on how to stay clear, focused and effective. She’s going to go through techniques on how to soothe ourselves, as well as how we can ask meaningful questions to make a positive contribution to the world.⁣⁣Check out the link below or in my bio to sign-up for this free session. She will send a Zoom invite 15 minutes before the chat! ⁣⁣https://clients.mindbodyonline.com/classic/ws?studioid=348871&stype=-103&sView=day&sLoc=0&sTrn=100000009&date=04/03/20

There is something oddly soothing for me about painting. I have had a really hard time focusing lately, and this is one of the first things I’ve felt productive with in awhile. I was diagnosed as an adult with ADD, it can be difficult when I have unstructured blocks of time. Painting gives me something to obsess about. Once I start, it’s hard for me to stop. I love working with my hands and the movement of going up and down the ladders. I enjoy the attention to detail, from taping, spackling, preparing the workspace, and painting. I bring the same attention to detail and obsession to how I approach mountain climbing. I hope you enjoy these videos of our day! What home projects are you taking on? @rob.lea #stayhome

Happy birthday to my partner, @rob.lea. I don’t know how you manage to look this good in a swimming cap and goggles, but you do. And I love you for all your quirks and all the joy you bring to my life everyday.

Being at home with your loved ones can really test relationship dynamics. I was inspired by @chrisburkard’s recent podcast with his wife, and decided to sit down at interview with my husband, @rob.lea. We start by talking about his 2019 Ultimate World Tri. We talk adventuring, future goals, kids and he shares some of his best training advice (we also divulge our most embarrassing nicknames for each other). ⁣⁣Check out the link below or in my profile to give it a listen. ⁣⁣⁣⁣https://anchor.fm/caroline-gleich/episodes/Caroline-Gleich-Show-Episode-2-Training–Relationships-and-Adventure-with-Rob-Lea-ebrej8⁣⁣Photo: @thehearnes
