Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always wanted to be a pro skier and mountaineer. I have always loved being outside. When I talk to people about what I do, I almost always see a little spark in their eye. A love of being outside is something that unites us all. It makes us feel human again.In a time of increasing political polarization, protecting public lands is one of the few issues that unites us as Americans. Whether we choose to climb, hunt, cycle, 4-wheel, fish or kayak, we are all still Americans who need public lands to play outside.
