As part of my Estes Park #AthleteInResidence stay, I wanted to link up with some of my friends who are Colorado locals. I first met @quinndalina on a DC lobbying trip to advocate protecting public lands. Quinn is an accomplished big wall climber and a former ranger at Rocky Mountain National Park. In 2017, she fell while climbing El Cap, and the accident left her paralyzed from the waist down. From the minute I met Quinn, I instantly connected with her drive, passion and strength. I’ve always admired her bravery and courage, whether it’s advocating for public lands or navigating life in a wheelchair. She crushes it on her hand-cycle and sit ski, doing 40 mile mountain bike rides and training for Nordic racing and is a fierce advocate for wild places and spinal cord research.Quinn has lived in Estes Park for the past 17 years, and it was awesome to follow her on a multisport adventure day biking and hiking (while she skied)! @visitestespark
