Happy international women's day! How we treat the earth says a lot about who we are as people. Environmental rights are human rights. Justice for the planet is justice for the people. That's how I think about international women's day. Last night, I spoke on a panel about ecofeminism and the overlaps between social justice and environmentalism. It made me think about how interconnected we are with the planet. Let us persist in our efforts, not only for women but for all the two legged and four legged, winged, rooted and flowing spirits.
