Thanksgiving

Here are some photos from my Thanksgiving this year. My family and I actually ate our Turkey dinner last Saturday because that was the only day the entire family could be home.

After eating the most delicious turkey (see photo below) for five entire days, I was relieved when my mom said she was going to make fish and chips for the real Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday.

Drew and I spent the day hiking before the feast, and after working up an appetite, we thoroughly enjoyed dinner. Old friends and new were in town for the holiday weekend, and I had so much fun skiing around Solitude and going to fabulous holiday get-togethers. With 16 credit hours of online classes, sometimes it is hard to find time to be social, but this weekend made up for my many months of being a recluse. Now I just can’t wait to go hike for some freshies!! THINK SNOW everyone!

First turns of the season

I had my first day of skiing this weekend at Solitude. Although the conditions were not exceptional, it was still fun to get out and carve up the groomers. As you can see, I brought my dad, Jerry, along. He was the only person I could think of that would want to go. We had a blast! Jerry is such a rock star, 76 years old and ripping.
