Sending Love to Rockaway Beach and Everyone Affected by Hurricane Sandy
This morning, I was reading about ways to help the Hurricane Recovery efforts. Since I can’t be there, I decided to post a few pictures of one of my favorite spots that was deeply affected, Rockaway Beach. My friends always took me here to surf or hang out whenever I was visiting New York City. It quickly became one of my favorite beach communities in the world. It’s not just the boardwalk or the soft, sandy beaches with fun waves – it was the people I met and the spirit of the place. Which is why I know Rockaway will bounce back, but it’s going to take some time to heal. That’s why I’m sending love, hugs and positive vibes with this blog post!
