Park City Freestyle Huckfest
This past Saturday at the Utah Olympic Park I judged and watched the PC Huckfest at the water ramps. I think we had almost 60 athletes competing ranging in age from 6- 47. The competition was so well organized and well run and the turnout was amazing. It was great for me as a coach to see the level of progression that my athletes have had over the past couple of years. Some of the highlights included Andre Dumas doing a triple misty flip (INSANE) off the Mongo jump and the Dingman girls (who are 6, 9, 11) going big off the single. Travis Perkins did a hysterical job announcing and Mick Berry from PC Freestyle stoked out all the kids with tons of great giveaways at the end.
Here are some pics:
Some of my great coaching. Sometimes the athletes just need a little push…
Me and ma girls.
Skyler Jackenthal is such a little Roxy girl!
And our wonderful volunteer coordinator, Mary Partridge.
