Fall Acting Class at the University of Utah

To all you U of U students out there, or for anyone who is looking for a challenge, the University of Utah offers an amazing opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera.

I’ve taken Lynne Van Dam’s acting class four times during my university career, and I always seem to find something new to improve upon.  Acting is such an adrenaline rush and being comfortable on camera is a great life skill that can help you in many situations, from a job interview to giving a speech.

Winter is Here!

Fully on.  UT mountains are getting dumped on.  I took my last final yesterday, and now it’s ski everyday time for me!

The next few weeks are going to be busy.  As a Roxy team member, I will be helping out with demos and clinics to get the word about our hardgoods, including the first ever women’s reverse camber ski, the Mumbo Jumbo.  Check out these cute photos from the demo we did at the Canyons last Saturday (all Canyons photos by Liz Sherry):

It was so cold and snowy that we have to come up with fun things to do to stay warm, like sledding!

This was actually a really steep hill.

Jump roping–which gets you warmed up quickly!

We have another demo tomorrow at Alta so come on up and try out the new skis!  Then I’m off to Jackson for the opening of the tram in this sweet ride:

It’s so good to be done with school and to be able to focus on skiing.  All that fresh snow isn’t going to track itself out!

The weather outlook is amazing for the next week.  See you on the slopes!

Snowbird December 7, 2008

Between studying for finals and crocheting hats, I did manage to find some time to sneak up to the mountains this weekend.

Here’s a video I put together of my friends, skiing on what Cait called "Commando Friday."

And some shots from today at Snowbird (photos by Brent Benson):
