I love how effortlessly the pre-dawn miles disappear in the dark of an alpine start, and the sense of discovery when you descend the same trail in light. We hiked by all this on our way to climb and ski Mt. Baker. I couldn't believe my eyes!I'm overwhelmed with the beauty of the Cascades, and am considering staying here forever. Grateful to @alex_taran and @moonmountainman for an unforgettable day on Baker.
